Wondertree Playschool offers mixed-age classes for children ages 15 months–8 years, rooted in a play-based, child-led philosophy. Our outdoor setting and nature-immersive curriculum encourage children to explore, observe, and learn through hands-on experiences in the natural world. With small class sizes, a low student-to-teacher ratio, and a commitment to meeting outdoors in all weather, educators are able to build meaningful relationships and support each child’s growth.

Candidates should:

  • Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Have experience with and a genuine affection for young children

  • Show interest in nature, animals, and outdoor learning

  • Be willing to get messy and engage in child-led play and exploration

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Be reliable, patient, and punctual

  • Work collaboratively with a teaching team

  • Be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic outdoor environment
